The village
What do you usually find in the village?
We usually find there:
- People
- Houses
- A school
- Firewood
- Animals
- Well
- Water tanks
Some houses are painted white in the village. This keeps
them cool in summer season. Some of these houses have shades which are made from
logs and straw mat. Most houses build in one compound. All families in these
houses use this compound. They keep their goats and hens there.
Some villages are near the city. Some of village men go to
work in the city. Village schools often have about 30 children and about two
teachers. People here work together to make it a good place to live. They built
a water take for the village because the well had dried up.
Women use the firewood to cook there food and men go out to
collect firewood.
